One layer ice cream

Hi!

Lawnscaping current challenge is one layer card. I have to be honest with you, one layer card is not my cup of tea… 🙂 I love when other people do them but when I give it a go, it almost never turns out like I imagined it. Maybe it’s because I’m so clumsy that I almost always smear ink or something so I have to cover it up somehow. And it’s hard to cover up when it’s one layer…:-

This card is a smaller size, I will use it as a gift tag it on a present for one of my good friends.

Take care!

Challenge : Lawnscaping

Hippo Birdie to you!

Hi!
How cute is that sentiment? 🙂 I absolutely love it and the bird and the hippo are adorable! If you have visited my blog before you probably know that Lawn Fawn stamps have a special place in my heart…..all those cute animals make me HAPPY 😀

I created the background with a stencil and distress ink and translucent embossing paste. I stamped the bird on top of the hippo and coloured themwith copics and cut them out. I added some white enamel dots to them as well. The yellow twine and the stamp set is from Lawn Fawn.
