Happy Birthday!

Hello!

I ordered from Simon Says Stamp last week and my goodies came yesterday! That’s awesome considering I live on the other side of the world from Simon Says Stamp… πŸ™‚ Anyway, now I have a lot of new stamp sets, stencils, dies, ink and paper to play with. Yay!!

Today I made a Happy Birthday card to one of my sons friends using one of Lawn Fawn’s new releases, “Beep Boop Birthday” stamp set with coordinated dies. The sentiment die is designed and written by Kristina Werner, one of my favorite cardmakers. Love her handwriting! I made my own background with stamps and versamark ink, similar to my last card. My white gel pen went M I A, otherwise I would have drawn some white stitching lines. I guess I have to go to my local craft store and buy a new one ( Don’t tell my husband… πŸ™‚ )

Astrid is turning one. Woot Woot!

Hi!
I’m planning Β to upload a video later this week, but me and my family have vacation and we have a LOT of things planned… but I will try to squeeze in some craft time… πŸ™‚

Today I made a happy birthday card for my colleague’s daughter. She ( my colleague ) likes another card with this cute elephant from Paper Smooches so I used it on this card. After I coloured the elephants with copics I covered them with glossy accent to make them even cuter. I die cut her daughters name with Mama Elephant dies and used the negative cuts. I tied a little silver heart with some silver string and adhered the front panel on to patterned paper from Lawn Fawn. Behind the name I adhered some gray patterned paper from the same collection to match the big mama elephant.

Take care!
